MP-IDSA, a premier think tank under India’s Ministry of Defence, is renowned for its research in defence, national security, and strategic affairs. It provides policy insights and fosters academic discourse on international relations, regional security, and defence policy, offering a dynamic environment for researchers and policymakers.

  • Conduct research on defence, security, and strategic policy issues.
  • Draft policy briefs, reports, and research papers for publication.
  • Support organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers on ongoing projects.

  • Analyze global and regional security trends to inform policy recommendations.
  • Master’s degree (or final-year Master’s student) in law, international relations, or related fields; exceptional Bachelor’s degree holders may be considered for a 2-month internship.
  • Age not exceeding 30 years as of January 1, 2025.

  • Strong research and analytical skills with an interest in defence studies.
