The Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BSLSA), established under the Legal Services Authorities Act, is a statutory body committed to providing legal aid and promoting legal awareness among marginalized communities. BSLSA’s internship program offers law students a unique opportunity to engage with public service and legal aid mechanisms.

  • Participate in legal awareness and literacy programs.

  • Observe and assist in legal aid clinics and outreach activities.

  • Document case studies and prepare reports on legal aid initiatives.

  • Support BSLSA officers in administrative tasks.

  • Enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program.

  • No prior internship with BSLSA and no exams during the internship period.

  • Indian nationals only, with a recommendation letter from the Head of Institution (Annexure-A format).

Complete the registration form on the BSLSA website and submit a recommendation letter in Annexure-A format from your institution’s Head. Ensure availability for the full 21-day period. Results will be announced after 29 May 2025.
