Provide legal guidance on retail banking products, including loans and deposits.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and compliance documents.
Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and other regulatory frameworks.
Conduct legal research and monitor changes in banking laws.
Manage external counsel and represent the bank in legal proceedings.
Develop internal policies and train staff on compliance matters.
Bachelor’s degree in Law; advanced qualifications preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in banking or financial services law.
Strong knowledge of retail banking regulations and RBI guidelines.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Fluency in Hindi and English; regional languages are a plus.
