The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) is a pivotal government body overseeing policies and regulations for information, broadcasting, press, and films in India. Headquartered in New Delhi, MIB plays a critical role in shaping the nation’s media and communication landscape.
  • Provide legal advice on policies related to broadcasting, the press, and films.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and regulations.
  • Assist in court proceedings and legal compliance for ministry initiatives.
  • Research legal issues affecting media and information sectors.
  • Support senior officials in ensuring adherence to government guidelines.
  • LL.B. from a recognized university, eligible for registration as an advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably with central government exposure.
  • Retired government officials (US/DS level) with relevant experience are eligible.
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with court procedures and government operations.
