Post Details: A reputed corporate organisation is seeking an experienced legal professional on a contractual basis to support its litigation and dispute management functions in Mumbai. Candidates must have 5–8 years of relevant experience, with strong litigation and dispute-resolution expertise. Knowledge of Marathi is mandatory.
Manage litigation matters, including arbitration and cheque-bouncing cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
Handle court proceedings, tribunal matters, and quasi-judicial proceedings.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, petitions, plaints, written statements, and legal notices.
Coordinate with external counsel and senior advocates on litigation strategy and case management.
Handle consumer disputes, recovery matters, settlements, and mediation.
Liaise with government authorities and maintain stakeholder relationships.
5–8 years of relevant legal experience.
Strong experience in litigation management and dispute resolution.
Experience with arbitration and Section 138 cheque-bouncing matters.
Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and court proceedings.
Exposure to consumer disputes, recovery, settlements, and mediation.
Knowledge of Marathi is mandatory.
