D.R. LAW CHAMBERS is inviting applications for the position of Associate Lawyer at its Chennai branch. The role is full-time and on-site, requiring a minimum of three years of post-qualification legal practice experience. The selected candidate will work with senior lawyers and partners on varied legal matters, with opportunities for client interaction and professional development.
Draft and review contracts, legal notices, pleadings, legal opinions, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and analyse statutes, case law, and regulations.
Prepare concise legal reports and case briefs.
Attend client meetings and assist with negotiations.
Support preparation for court appearances, hearings, and filings.
Coordinate with internal teams and manage case files and legal documentation.
Maintain professional communication with clients and courts.
Handle assigned legal matters independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
LL.B. degree from a recognised institution.
Enrolment with the Bar Council of India or the relevant State Bar Council is required.
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification practice experience in a law firm.
Strong knowledge of court procedures, legal drafting, and legal research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage legal matters independently and work collaboratively with senior lawyers and partners.
