FSSAI has invited online applications for the engagement of Legal Consultants on a contractual basis under Legal Consultant Notice-01/2026, File No. L-15017/128/2023-Legal-FSSAI.
A total of 3 vacancies are available at FSSAI Headquarters in New Delhi. The initial engagement will be for one year and may be extended up to three years, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
• Provide legal research and analysis on assigned matters
• Assist with interpretation of applicable laws, rules and regulations
• Support the preparation and review of legal documents and legal opinions
• Assist with regulatory and compliance-related legal matters
• Support litigation-related work and coordination with legal representatives, where required
• Prepare legal notes, briefs and reports
• Undertake other legal responsibilities assigned by the competent authority
• Candidates must meet the educational qualification requirements specified in the official notification
• Applicants must satisfy the prescribed age and experience criteria
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills are desirable
• Candidates must fulfil all conditions applicable to contractual engagement
