FSSAI has invited online applications for the engagement of Legal Consultants on a contractual basis. A total of 3 positions are available at its headquarters in New Delhi.
The engagement offers legal professionals an opportunity to work with a central government authority on legal matters related to its functions and regulatory responsibilities. The initial tenure is one year, extendable up to three years, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
• Provide legal research and analysis on assigned matters
• Assist with interpretation of applicable laws, rules and regulations
• Support the preparation and review of legal documents and opinions
• Assist with regulatory and compliance-related legal matters
• Support litigation-related work and coordination with legal representatives, where required
• Assist in preparing legal notes, briefs and reports
• Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the competent authority
• Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification requirements prescribed in the official notification

• Relevant legal research, drafting and analytical skills are desirable
