Deepank Singha is inviting applications for the position of Trainee Associate / Associate for candidates with 0–1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE). The opportunity is suitable for fresh law graduates and early-career lawyers seeking hands-on exposure to legal research, drafting, court proceedings and the day-to-day management of a legal practice.
The role offers direct mentorship, early responsibility and practical experience across diverse legal practice areas. The probation period is 3–6 months, with the possibility of earlier confirmation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal drafts from the beginning
• Assist with intellectual property matters involving trademarks and copyright
• Work on entertainment, media and technology law assignments
• Assist with prosecution and litigation matters
• Support AI, cybercrime and contractual matters
• Assist with founder disputes and arbitration/mediation matters
• Handle court filings, mentions and routine court appearances
• Maintain case diaries, hearing dates and client records
• Manage office operations when the principal is away
• Coordinate case-related documentation and other assigned responsibilities
• LL.B. / Law degree
• Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–1 year PQE may apply
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Interest in IP law, entertainment and media, technology law or dispute resolution
• Ability to take ownership and work independently
• Willingness to learn quickly and handle responsibility
• Good organisational and communication skills
