Hinduja Leyland Finance is hiring a Legal Manager for its Nagpur operations. The role is suited to legal professionals with 5–9 years of experience and involves proactive litigation, recovery matters, legal risk management and providing legal support to business and collection teams.
• Handle proactive litigation and recovery-related legal matters
• Manage court cases and legal proceedings
• Draft and review legal notices and other legal documents
• Coordinate with external advocates and legal counsel
• Provide legal support to Collection and Business teams
• Identify and manage legal risks arising from business and recovery operations
• Advise internal teams on applicable banking and NBFC laws
• Monitor litigation matters and ensure timely legal action
• Support resolution of recovery and dispute-related matters
• 5–9 years of relevant experience
• LL.B. / LL.M. qualification
• Hands-on experience in proactive litigation and recovery
• Strong knowledge of Banking/NBFC laws and legal processes
• Experience managing court cases, legal notices and external counsels
• Ability to provide effective legal support to Collection and Business teams
• Strong legal research, analytical and communication skills
