The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Government of India, is the central ministry responsible for formulating and administering policies, programmes and laws relating to women and child development.

MWCD is inviting applications under its Internship Programme from eligible women students, scholars, social activists and teachers associated with universities or academic/non-academic institutions. The programme provides exposure to the Ministry's work, policy initiatives and ongoing activities relating to women and children.
• Undertake pilot projects and micro-studies related to the Ministry's activities
• Conduct research on issues concerning women and children
• Assist with policy analysis and research-based assignments
• Study ongoing programmes and initiatives of the Ministry
• Prepare research findings and project outputs
• Contribute to discussions and analysis concerning women and child development
• Women students, scholars, social activists and teachers may apply
• Applicants must be enrolled in or associated with a university/academic/non-academic institution
• Applicants should be from Non-Tier I cities and rural areas of India
• Age: 21–40 years
• Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by the Ministry
