The International Bar Association (IBA) is a global organisation of legal professionals and bar associations. Its India judicial pendency study examines case pendency in Indian courts and aims to develop research-based recommendations for judicial reform.

The IBA's study on case pendency in India's courts is expanding its team as the project enters its consultation phase. Applications are invited for two Junior Consultants who will contribute to legal research, drafting and consultations with judges and senior counsel across India.
• Conduct legal and policy research on judicial pendency
• Assist with drafting research outputs and reform recommendations
• Work directly with judges and senior counsel
• Support the consultation phase of the project
• Analyse information relating to India's judicial system
• Assist with preparation of research materials and project outputs
• Law graduates
• 1–3 years of experience in practice, research or policy
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Genuine interest in law, public policy and judicial reform
• Ability to work independently and engage with senior legal professionals
• Willingness to travel for the South India role
