The National Human Rights Commission is inviting applications for its Winter Internship Programme 2026. The programme provides students from across India with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to human rights issues, research and the functioning of a national human rights institution.
• Participate in the Winter Internship Programme
• Conduct research on assigned human rights topics
• Work on group research projects
• Participate in academic and interactive activities
• Prepare research material and presentations as assigned
• Gain practical exposure to human rights law and related issues
• Eligible students from across India may apply
• Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by NHRC for the Winter Internship Programme
• Interest in human rights, constitutional law, public policy and legal research is preferred
