Mission Accessibility is hiring a Litigation and Policy Associate for a full-time, permanent role. The position involves strategic litigation, legal research, policy advocacy, and work relating to disability rights and human rights.
• Draft writ petitions, pleadings, representations, and other legal documents
• Conduct high-quality legal research
• Appear in and assist with court proceedings
• Work on strategic human rights and disability-rights litigation
• Engage in policy advocacy and institutional capacity building
• Coordinate with court registries and other stakeholders
• Support ongoing litigation and policy initiatives
• LL.B. degree
• Approximately 2 years of litigation experience preferred
• Requirement may be relaxed for exceptional candidates
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Interest in disability justice, human rights, and public-interest litigation
• Ability to work full-time in an in-person environment
