IDfy is inviting applications for a Privacy Intern position in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The opportunity provides practical exposure to data privacy, regulatory compliance and privacy operations, particularly in relation to the DPDP Act and GDPR.
• Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
• Update Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Monitor developments in privacy laws, particularly the DPDP Act and GDPR
• Convert complex legal and privacy requirements into actionable internal briefs
• Update internal privacy tracking dashboards and reports
• Coordinate with Product, Technology and Legal teams on privacy implementation
• Assist with technical audit preparation and gather evidence for security and privacy certifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Information Security or Management
• Strong interest in data privacy and privacy frameworks such as the DPDP Act and GDPR
• Ability to simplify complex legal and privacy concepts for internal stakeholders
• Basic understanding of APIs, cloud systems and data handling
• Organised and comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers and documentation
• CIPP/E or CIPM certification is an advantage but not mandatory
