Chola is hiring a Branch Legal Manager for its Siliguri Branch / North Bengal location. The role involves handling legal matters relating to secured lending and LAP, coordinating with advocates and enforcement agencies, managing litigation and execution matters, and supporting legal operations across the region.
• Handle legal matters relating to LAP and secured lending
• Coordinate with empanelled advocates and enforcement agencies
• Manage court proceedings and execution/warrant matters
• Handle legal and recovery-related matters across North Bengal
• Coordinate with internal business and collection teams
• Support enforcement and legal recovery processes
• Handle litigation-related documentation and drafting
• Assist with police liaisoning and other legal coordination
• AIBE-qualified Advocate
• Minimum 2 years of court practice experience
• Maximum age: 35 years
• Male candidates
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of SARFAESI Act, Payment and Settlement Systems Act, Negotiable Instruments Act and Arbitration
• Knowledge of Title Suits, DRT/DRAT matters and police liaisoning
• Experience in LAP/Home Loan legal matters and warrant execution
• Strong drafting, litigation-handling and coordination skills
• Resilient, result-oriented and team-oriented approach
• Immediate joiners preferred
