IDfy is offering a Privacy Intern opportunity for candidates interested in privacy law, data protection and technology. The role provides practical exposure to privacy compliance frameworks including the DPDP Act and GDPR, while working with Product, Technology and Legal teams.
• Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
• Assist with updating Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Monitor developments in privacy laws, particularly DPDP and GDPR
• Convert complex legal and privacy requirements into actionable internal briefs
• Update privacy tracking dashboards and reports
• Coordinate with Product, Technology and Legal teams on privacy implementation
• Assist with technical audit preparation and evidence gathering
• Support documentation relating to security and privacy certifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Information Security or Management
• Strong interest in privacy and data protection laws
• Understanding of DPDP Act and GDPR is preferred
• Ability to simplify complex legal and privacy concepts
• Basic understanding of APIs and cloud systems and how they process data
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers and documentation
• Candidates pursuing CIPP/E or CIPM certifications may be preferred, but certification is not mandatory
