IIFL Home Finance Ltd. is hiring a Legal Officer – Legal (Non-Litigation) for its Siliguri office. The role focuses on legal reports, title verification, property and mortgage laws, and related non-litigation legal work.
• Prepare legal reports
• Conduct property title verification
• Review property-related legal documents
• Handle matters relating to property and mortgage laws
• Assist with legal documentation and non-litigation matters
• Conduct necessary legal research
• Maintain and review relevant property records
• Coordinate and complete assigned legal tasks within deadlines
• LL.B. qualification is mandatory
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience
• Good knowledge of property and mortgage laws
• Strong legal drafting and comprehension skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in MS Office and online property-record systems
• Multilingual skills will be an added advantage
• Ability to adapt, multitask and meet deadlines
