IIFL Home Finance Ltd. is hiring a Legal Officer – Legal (Non-Litigation) for its Siliguri location. The role is focused on property and mortgage-related legal work, including title verification, legal reporting and documentation.
• Prepare legal reports and conduct title verification
• Review property-related legal documents
• Handle matters relating to property and mortgage laws
• Support mortgage and lending-related legal processes
• Conduct legal research and documentation
• Assist with legal drafting and review
• Use online property record systems for verification
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and ensure timely completion of assigned work
• LL.B. degree is mandatory
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience
• Good knowledge of property and mortgage laws
• Strong legal drafting and comprehension skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in MS Office and online property record systems
• Multi-linguistic skills will be an added advantage
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
