Godrej Agrovet Limited is inviting applications for the position of Senior Manager (Legal) in Mumbai. The role is intended for an experienced legal professional with 8–10 years of experience, particularly in litigation and dispute resolution, along with exposure to corporate and banking & finance matters.
• Handle and oversee litigation and dispute-resolution matters
• Provide legal advice and practical solutions to business teams
• Support general corporate and commercial legal matters
• Handle banking and finance-related legal requirements
• Translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions
• Manage multiple legal matters and competing priorities
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate legal projects in a matrixed team environment
• Support decision-making by providing clear legal risk assessments
• LL.B. / LL.M. from a Tier-I or Tier-II Indian law institute
• 8–10 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong experience in litigation and dispute resolution
• Qualified/licensed lawyer
• Experience in general corporate and banking & finance matters
• Experience in a major law firm, large multinational corporation or equivalent organisation preferred
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Strong organisational and project-management skills
• Ability to manage high-volume work and competing priorities
• Strong client-management and stakeholder-management skills
