The High Court of Manipur at Imphal has invited online applications for Manipur Judicial Service Grade–I. The recruitment is for 2 vacancies and is open to eligible advocates and in-service judicial officers meeting the prescribed experience requirements.
• Conduct judicial proceedings in civil and criminal matters
• Hear and decide cases in accordance with applicable laws
• Examine pleadings, evidence and legal submissions
• Pass reasoned judicial orders and judgments
• Ensure fair and effective administration of justice
• Perform other judicial duties assigned under the Manipur Judicial Service
• Degree in Law from a recognised University
• Must be practising as an Advocate in civil and criminal jurisdiction on the last date for applications
• Minimum 7 years of practice as an Advocate
• Government Pleaders and Public Prosecutors are included within the definition of Advocate
• In-service Judicial Officers must meet the prescribed 7-year combined/continuous experience requirements
• Sufficient working knowledge of the Manipuri language
