Meesho Limited is inviting applications for the position of Manager (Legal) in Bengaluru. The role is focused on corporate and commercial legal work, including contract lifecycle management, commercial negotiations, corporate transactions, compliance and providing legal support to business and strategic initiatives.
• Own and manage the end-to-end contracting lifecycle
• Draft, review, redline and negotiate commercial agreements
• Handle vendor, distribution, licensing, SaaS/technology and strategic partnership contracts
• Provide legal advice on new business initiatives, product launches and strategic projects
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters
• Support M&A, joint ventures, investments and corporate restructuring transactions
• Advise the HR/People team on employment-related legal matters and policies
• Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks
• Coordinate with external counsel on specialised legal matters and due diligence
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise internal stakeholders
• Improve contract lifecycle management, compliance and risk-management processes
• LL.B. degree
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Experience in a reputed law firm and/or in-house legal role
• Experience in corporate advisory, transactions and compliance
• Experience handling cross-border contracts and complex commercial negotiations
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication abilities
