ICICI Home Finance is hiring a Legal Manager (Non-Litigation) for its Nagpur location. The role focuses on property title verification, real estate projects, loan documentation and legal assessment of retail and high-value cases across the Vidarbha region.
• Conduct independent property title searches and legal due diligence
• Handle APF cases and review RERA projects and related litigation
• Assess property-related legal risks and title deviations
• Review revenue documents and local authority orders
• Draft and vet indemnities, mortgage deeds, affidavits, declarations and loan agreements
• Assess deviations in retail and high-value cases up to ₹5 crore
• Handle affordable housing cases involving rural properties and complex title issues
• Review stamp duty requirements and title documents
• Provide legal support on SARFAESI and litigation-related matters
• Deal with property matters involving relevant state and local authorities
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of property laws applicable in Maharashtra, particularly the Vidarbha region
• Knowledge of MLRC Code and local property authorities including MIHAN, CIDCO, MHADA, MADC, NIT and NMRDA
• Knowledge of Inam, Nazul, Gaothan and Nagar Panchayat properties
• Strong understanding of stamp duties and title documents
• Ability to read and understand revenue documents in Marathi, including Government Resolutions (GRs) and local authority orders
• Basic knowledge of SARFAESI and litigation
• Strong legal drafting, title-search and analytical skills
