The Ministry of Women and Child Development is inviting applications for its Internship Programme from women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers associated with universities or academic/non-academic institutions. The programme provides exposure to the Ministry's mandate, ongoing activities, policy analysis, and issues concerning women and children.
• Undertake pilot projects and micro-studies related to the Ministry's ongoing activities
• Conduct research and policy analysis on issues concerning women and children
• Study and analyse relevant programmes and initiatives of the Ministry
• Contribute to research-based work and policy discussions
• Engage with issues relating to women and child development
• Women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers may apply
• Applicants must be from Non-Tier I cities and rural parts of India
• Must be enrolled in or associated with a university, academic institution, or non-academic institution
• Age between 21–40 years
Eligible candidates should submit their applications online through the MWCD Internship Programme portal. Applications for the relevant batch are accepted between the 1st and 10th of the month, with applications for the current opportunity closing on 10 September 2026.
