Progenesis IVF Fertility Center is hiring a Legal Officer for its Legal & Compliance Department in Thane. The role involves managing litigation, contractual and compliance matters, providing legal advice to internal stakeholders, and supporting the organisation on property, recovery, and dispute resolution matters.
• Manage and coordinate civil, criminal, commercial, and consumer litigation
• Coordinate with external advocates and legal counsels
• Draft and vet agreements, contracts, legal notices, affidavits, and petitions
• Review contracts and identify legal and commercial risks
• Provide legal advice to management and internal teams
• Handle statutory, regulatory, and compliance-related matters
• Conduct legal due diligence for property and real estate transactions
• Handle recovery matters, settlements, and dispute resolution
• Maintain litigation records, legal documentation, and periodic MIS
• Conduct legal research and track relevant legal developments
• LL.B. from a recognised university
• B.Com + LL.B. preferred
• 4+ years of relevant experience in litigation and/or in-house legal work
• Strong knowledge of legal drafting, contracts, litigation, and compliance
• Exposure to RERA, NCLT/IBC, DRT, arbitration, and real estate matters preferred
• Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions
