A leading NBFC is hiring an Area Legal Manager – Litigation & Collections for its Delhi and Ahmedabad locations. The role involves managing legal activities related to recovery, NPA and write-off cases, handling litigation, coordinating with external legal partners, and supporting the organisation’s recovery objectives.
• Manage legal activities relating to recovery, NPA, and write-off cases
• Handle litigation arising from recovery and collection proceedings
• Coordinate with external legal agencies, advocates, and legal partners
• Monitor case progress and ensure timely action on recovery matters
• Review and manage legal notices, court proceedings, and recovery documentation
• Coordinate with Collections, Credit, and Business teams
• Track legal cases, hearings, orders, and execution status
• Ensure compliance with internal legal processes and applicable regulations
• Develop and implement effective legal recovery strategies for stressed and written-off portfolios
• LL.B. / LL.M. preferred
• Experience in NBFC, Banking, or Financial Services preferred
• Strong experience in litigation, recovery, and collections-related legal work
• Hands-on experience with NPA, write-off, and recovery cases
• Experience coordinating with external legal agencies and advocates
• Good understanding of recovery laws and legal processes
• Strong stakeholder and case management skills
