The NBFC is hiring an Area Legal Manager – Litigation & Collections to manage legal activities relating to recovery, NPA and write-off cases. The role involves handling recovery litigation, coordinating with external advocates and legal agencies, monitoring court proceedings, and supporting the organization's legal recovery strategy.
• Manage legal activities relating to recovery, NPA and write-off cases
• Handle litigation arising from recovery and collection proceedings
• Coordinate with external legal agencies, advocates, and legal partners
• Monitor case progress and ensure timely action on recovery-related matters
• Review legal notices, court proceedings, and recovery documentation
• Coordinate with Collections, Credit, and Business teams
• Track cases, hearings, orders, and execution status
• Ensure compliance with internal legal processes and applicable regulations
• Develop and support effective legal recovery strategies for stressed and written-off portfolios
• LL.B. / LL.M. preferred
• Relevant experience in NBFC, banking, or financial services preferred
• Strong experience in litigation, recovery, and collections-related legal matters
• Hands-on experience with NPA, write-off, and recovery cases
• Experience coordinating with external legal agencies and advocates
• Good understanding of recovery laws and legal processes
• Strong stakeholder and case management skills
