The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. NHAI is responsible for the development, maintenance and management of National Highways across India.

NHAI has invited applications for the position of Young Professional (Legal) on a contractual basis. The opportunity is particularly suitable for law graduates who have appeared for CLAT (PG) 2026 and are interested in gaining professional experience with a central government organisation.
• Provide legal research and support on matters handled by NHAI
• Assist in examining legal and regulatory issues relating to NHAI's functions
• Conduct research on relevant statutes, rules, regulations and judicial decisions
• Assist in preparation and review of legal documents and opinions
• Support NHAI's legal and contractual matters as assigned
• Assist legal officers in handling day-to-day legal work
• Law degree from a recognised University, National Law School or Institute
• Must have appeared for CLAT (PG) 2026
• Selection will be based on the candidate's CLAT (PG) 2026 score
• Candidates must satisfy the age limit prescribed by NHAI as on the last date of application
