National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi), established in 2008 through the initiative of the High Court of Delhi and the Government of NCT of Delhi, is a premier law university offering undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and specialised legal programmes.
Post Details
NLU Delhi is inviting applications for one Research Associate under an ICSSR-funded research project titled “Smart Cities, Silent Citizens: The Impact of ‘Digital-by-Default’ Governance on the Autonomy and Well-being of Oldest Old Persons.” The project examines the intersection of ageing, smart city governance and legal frameworks.
• Assist in research, review and analysis of statutes, policies, guidelines and regulatory frameworks
• Conduct doctrinal, empirical and comparative legal research
• Undertake literature reviews and case/document analysis
• Support data-driven research inquiries
• Assist in preparing research reports, briefs, research papers and working papers
• Coordinate with project investigators and external consultants
• Support other research-related activities required for the project
• M.A. with specialisation in Constitutional Law from a recognised Indian or foreign university
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent
• NET / M.Phil. / Ph.D. qualified candidates with at least 2 years of research experience
• Demonstrable research track record in Constitutional Law, SDGs, Gerontology, Smart Cities, Digital Public Infrastructure or allied areas
Desirable Qualifications
• Familiarity with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods
• Experience in literature review, instrument development, data collection and analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools
• Prior research project experience
• Strong academic writing skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
