Namami Law Offices is inviting applications for a Legal Research Intern. The opportunity is open to law students and recent graduates and is particularly suited to candidates interested in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and legal research.
• Conduct legal research on assigned matters
• Research relevant statutes, case laws and legal developments
• Assist with IP-related legal research
• Conduct basic research using IP Office databases and resources
• Review and analyse IP application status and examination reports
• Research relevant IP Office forms and procedures
• Assist with preparation of research notes and legal work products
• Support the legal team with assigned research-related tasks
• Law students may apply
• Recent law graduates may apply
• Understanding of IP fundamentals is preferred
• Basic familiarity with IP Office practice is an advantage
• Familiarity with public searches, application status, examination reports and relevant forms will be beneficial
• Strong research and analytical skills
