The Office of Adarsh Srivastava, Advocate, practising before the Allahabad High Court, is inviting applications from law students and aspiring legal professionals for an internship providing practical exposure to High Court litigation.

Post Details
The internship is focused particularly on Criminal Law, Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, and GST Law. Interns will get an opportunity to work on litigation-related assignments, legal research, drafting and case preparation while gaining an understanding of High Court procedure and litigation strategy.

• Assist with criminal litigation and criminal law matters
• Draft bail applications and anticipatory bail applications
• Assist in drafting criminal miscellaneous applications and other pleadings
• Conduct legal research and analysis of criminal case law
• Work on matters arising under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881
• Research cheque dishonour and related litigation
• Assist with matters concerning the Goods and Services Tax Act and GST litigation
• Research statutory provisions, precedents and recent judicial developments
• Prepare case briefs, written submissions and arguments
• Gain practical understanding of High Court procedure and litigation strategy

• Law students pursuing LL.B., B.A. LL.B. or equivalent law programmes
• Keen interest in criminal litigation, NI Act matters and GST Law
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Willingness to undertake practical litigation assignments
