LawSikho is hiring an Associate – International Contract Drafting for a full-time remote position. The role is particularly suited to experienced legal professionals with substantial hands-on contract drafting and negotiation experience who can teach and develop practical training content on international commercial agreements.
• Teach and develop curriculum on international contract drafting
• Explain contract architecture and drafting agreements from scratch
• Teach clauses including indemnities, liability caps, warranties, termination and IP provisions
• Work on international SaaS, services, licensing and distribution agreements
• Cover SAFEs, convertible notes, JV and shareholder agreements
• Teach DPAs and international data-transfer terms under GDPR and PDPA
• Explain governing law, arbitration and enforcement clauses
• Conduct redlining and contract negotiation training
• Incorporate AI tools into legal drafting and research workflows with appropriate verification
• Provide live classes, doubt-clearing sessions and written feedback
• Build curriculum and practical learning materials
• Teach lawyers how to obtain international drafting work, including positioning, outreach, scoping and pricing
• Significant hands-on contract drafting and negotiation experience
• Ability to research and explain legal positions across international jurisdictions
• Familiarity with legal AI tools and their use in drafting/research
• Comfortable conducting live classes and providing feedback
• Strong communication and teaching abilities
• Ability to develop curriculum independently
• In-house counsels, boutique-firm associates and experienced freelance drafters may apply
• International practice experience is not mandatory, provided the candidate can properly research foreign legal positions
