The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It functions as a think tank and centre of excellence in areas including corporate law, governance, public policy, insolvency, ESG, business and human rights, AI governance and regulatory affairs.

IICA offers full-time internship opportunities across its Schools, Centres and Departments. Law students can potentially work on corporate law, competition law, insolvency, corporate governance, CSR, business and human rights, ADR and other corporate-affairs related subjects.
• Conduct legal and policy research
• Assist with corporate law research
• Research competition law and market regulation
• Work on insolvency and bankruptcy-related projects
• Assist with corporate governance and public policy research
• Research CSR, ESG and sustainability issues
• Work on business and human rights projects
• Research AI governance and technology-related issues
• Assist with ADR and other corporate-affairs projects
• Prepare research papers, reports and other assigned outputs
• Students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes
• Final-year law students are preferred
• Students from disciplines including Social Sciences, Economics, Commerce, Finance, Management, IT, Public Policy, AI, Cyber Security, Environmental Sciences and related fields may also apply
• CA, CMA and CS students are eligible
• Students undertaking dissertations/capstone or applied research projects for at least 20 weeks may apply
• Young professionals who completed their studies within the last six months and are currently unemployed may also apply.
