Nava is hiring a Legal Counsel for its Bengaluru office. The role focuses on commercial contracts, corporate and strategic transactions, regulatory compliance, and cross-border legal matters, particularly within the technology, AI infrastructure, cloud, and data-centre sectors.
• Draft, review and negotiate customer and vendor agreements
• Handle AI/GPU infrastructure, data-processing, data-centre, co-location and utility agreements
• Review NDAs, SaaS, procurement and technology agreements
• Develop contract templates, playbooks and SOPs
• Support M&A, fundraising, joint ventures and strategic partnerships
• Coordinate cross-border legal due diligence
• Assist with corporate governance, board resolutions, shareholder documentation and statutory filings
• Advise on regulatory and operational issues relating to AI, cloud infrastructure and data centres
• Monitor regulatory developments across Singapore and the wider APAC region
• Strengthen internal compliance processes and mitigate legal risks
• LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognised institution
• Enrolment with, or eligibility for enrolment with, the Bar Council
• Strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and interpretation of statutes and case law
• 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Experience in complex commercial contract drafting and negotiation
• Experience with cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional matters
• Exposure to M&A, fundraising, strategic partnerships or corporate transactions
• Understanding of corporate governance and secretarial matters
• Experience in cloud computing, AI infrastructure, data centres, technology or digital infrastructure is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Singapore/APAC regulatory frameworks is an advantage
• Strong commercial judgment and business-oriented legal advisory skills
