Akasa Finance Limited is looking for an experienced Legal Advisor for its Patna and Kolkata locations. The role involves handling legal documentation, regulatory compliance, recovery-related matters, and coordination with advocates and external stakeholders.
• Handle legal documentation and regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and vet agreements, notices, and other legal documents
• Coordinate with advocates, legal authorities, and external stakeholders
• Manage recovery-related legal matters and proceedings
• Ensure compliance with applicable NBFC regulations
• Handle legal matters across assigned territories
• Travel to nearby districts and adjoining regions as required
• LL.B./LL.M. preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in NBFC, banking, financial services, or the legal sector
• Strong legal drafting and analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of recovery laws and legal procedures
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, particularly in the NBFC sector
• Willingness to travel as required
