Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, through its CNLU–GIGA Cyber Security and Data Protection Compliance Research Unit (CS-DPCRU), has invited applications for contractual research positions. The Research Unit focuses on Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Forensics, Data Protection, Governance, and Public Policy while collaborating with academia, government, industry, and law enforcement agencies.
Post Details
Applications are invited for the following full-time contractual positions:
• Research Associate (Law) – 1 Post
• Research Associate (Cyber Security) – 1 Post
• Research Assistant (Policy) – 1 Post
• Research Assistant (Governance, Risk & Compliance – GRC) – 1 Post
The appointments are purely contractual and project-based for an initial period of one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements
• Conduct research in Cyber Security, Data Protection, and Privacy Law
• Work on Artificial Intelligence Governance and Digital Governance projects
• Undertake Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) research
• Prepare policy papers, research publications, and technical reports
• Assist in sponsored research and consultancy projects
• Support executive training programmes and capacity-building initiatives
• Conduct regulatory analysis and policy research
• Collaborate with academic, government, and industry stakeholders
• Research Associate (Law): LL.M. with specialization in Cyber Law, Technology Law, Information Technology Law, or Data Protection & Privacy Law
• Eligibility requirements vary for other positions as specified in the official notification
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
• Interest in Cyber Security, Data Protection, AI Governance, and Public Policy
