The Chamber of Senior Advocate Rajiv Chavan at the Bombay High Court provides litigation services and handles matters before the Bombay High Court and various courts and tribunals across Mumbai. The chamber offers law students and young legal professionals practical exposure to courtroom proceedings, litigation strategy, drafting, legal research, and case management.
Post Details
Applications are invited from Legal Interns and Junior Associates who are interested in building a career in litigation. Selected candidates will receive direct exposure to litigation practice before the Bombay High Court and other courts and tribunals across Mumbai, with opportunities to work on live matters and gain hands-on courtroom experience.
• Conduct legal research on ongoing litigation matters
• Assist in drafting legal documents, pleadings, and applications
• Attend daily court proceedings before the Bombay High Court and other courts and tribunals
• Independently manage assigned matters and maintain case trackers
• Monitor deadlines and coordinate court filings
• Prepare case notes and legal briefs
• Assist in day-to-day litigation work and chamber responsibilities
• Law students and graduates interested in litigation practice
• Strong drafting and legal research skills
• Ability to manage matters independently
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive approach towards legal work and courtroom practice
