HDFC Bank is inviting applications for the position of Litigation Professional for its Legal Team in Mumbai. The role involves handling banking and financial litigation, regulatory matters, and providing legal support across various banking-related disputes.
• Handle litigation matters relating to banking and financial laws
• Manage cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act, SARFAESI Act, and DRT proceedings
• Assist in matters under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act and Arbitration & Conciliation Act
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and opinions
• Coordinate with advocates and internal stakeholders
• Manage multiple legal matters efficiently
• LL.B. from a recognized university
• 0–3 Years Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
• Knowledge of the Negotiable Instruments Act, Payment and Settlement Systems Act, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, DRT matters, and SARFAESI Act
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Candidates currently based in Mumbai will be preferred
