Amazon is inviting applications for the position of Corporate Counsel in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will support the company's payments and business operations by advising on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, privacy, data protection, and contract management while working closely with business and technology teams.

  • • Advise business teams on commercial, regulatory, and legal matters
    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts
    • Provide legal guidance on privacy, data protection, and compliance issues
    • Support business launches and operational initiatives from a legal perspective
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and global legal teams
    • Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
    • Assist with corporate secretarial and governance matters
  • • LL.B. degree from a recognized university
    • 3–5 years of post-qualification legal experience
    • Experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, or technology law
    • Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
    • In-house or multinational corporate experience will be an added advantage
