Post Details
The District Collector's Office, Ranipet has invited applications for 17 Law Officer posts on a tenure basis. The vacancies include Public Prosecutor, Additional Public Prosecutor, Government Pleader, Additional Government Pleader, Special Public Prosecutor, and Pleader Doing Government Work across various District and Subordinate Courts in Ranipet District.

  • • Represent the Government before District and Subordinate Courts
    • Conduct criminal prosecutions and civil litigation
    • Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, and legal opinions
    • Advise government departments on legal matters
    • Handle court appearances and case management
    • Ensure effective representation in government litigation
  • • Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council
    • Minimum 7 years of standing at the Bar for most posts
    • Minimum 10 years of practice for the post of Special Public Prosecutor
    • Must satisfy all eligibility conditions prescribed in the official notification
