  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law courses.
  • Conduct legal research and publish scholarly work.
  • Guide student projects and dissertations.
  • Organize seminars, conferences, and academic events.
  • Contribute to curriculum development.
  • Participate in academic administration and university activities.

Educational Qualification

  • LL.M. with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
  • Candidates should satisfy the qualifications prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018.

NET / Ph.D.

  • Candidates who have cleared UGC-NET / SLET / SET are eligible.
  • Candidates holding a Ph.D. under applicable UGC regulations may be exempt from NET requirements.

Application Process

Candidates must submit the prescribed application form along with supporting documents as specified in the recruitment notification. Recent NLIU faculty recruitments have also required a hard-copy submission to the Registrar
