About the Opportunity

NLIU invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor (Law). The university seeks candidates with strong academic credentials, research aptitude, and teaching abilities to contribute to legal education and scholarship.

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law courses.
  • Conduct academic and legal research.
  • Publish research papers, articles, and books.
  • Guide student research projects and dissertations.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and moot court activities.
  • Participate in curriculum development and academic administration.
  • Contribute to university committees and institutional development. 
  • Educational Qualification

    • Master's Degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university.
    • Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by UGC and the university.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Ph.D. in Law (completed or pursuing).
    • NET qualification (where applicable).
    • Strong publication record in reputed journals.
    • Experience in teaching, research, or legal practice.
    • Preferred Areas of Expertise

      Candidates with specialization in areas such as:
