About the Chair

The UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports is a collaborative initiative between UNESCO and NLU Delhi aimed at advancing research, education, and policy development concerning legal aspects of clean sports, sports governance, anti-doping regulations, dispute resolution, and international sports law.

  • Assist and undertake research activities under the UNESCO Chair.
  • Conduct academic and policy-oriented legal research.
  • Publish at least:
    • One Scopus-indexed paper, and
    • Two international research papers annually.
  • Assist in research projects, field studies, and data collection.
  • Contribute to academic and administrative activities of the University.
  • Prepare research reports, literature reviews, and scholarly publications.
  • Support conferences, seminars, workshops, and academic events organized by the Chair.
  • Collaborate with faculty members and research teams on assigned projects.
  • LL.M. with specialization in:
    • Research Methodology,
    • Sports Law,
    • International Law, or
    • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
  • Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Demonstrable research track record in the relevant field.
  • Proven legal research and academic writing abilities.
  • Prior research experience, including fieldwork and data collection, is highly desirable.
  • Interdisciplinary research experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and publication skills.
