The Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG) is an autonomous research institution under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The institute is engaged in research related to geomagnetism, geophysics, space physics, and allied scientific disciplines. Headquartered at Navi Mumbai, IIG plays a significant role in scientific research and technological advancement in India.

  • Handle legal documentation, filing, and maintenance of case records.
  • Prepare legal replies and coordinate with government counsels.
  • Follow up on e-Court matters and ongoing legal proceedings.
  • Examine and evaluate contractual terms and legal compliance requirements.
  • Assist in labour law matters and issues related to the Charity Commissioner.
  • Provide legal support on institutional governance and compliance matters. 
  • Degree in Law from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
  • Knowledge of legal drafting, documentation, contracts, and compliance matters.
  • Experience in handling institutional or government-related legal work will be preferred.
