Advanced Weapons & Equipment India Limited (AWEIL) is a Schedule ‘A’ Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is engaged in the manufacturing of advanced weapon systems, small arms, artillery, and ammunition components. AWEIL operates multiple ordnance factories across India and plays a key role in defence production under the “Make in India” initiative.

  • Handling legal advisory work for organisational matters
  • Drafting and vetting contracts and agreements
  • Ensuring compliance with government and PSU regulations
  • Assisting in litigation and dispute management
  • Providing legal support in procurement and contractual issues
  • Coordinating with internal departments on legal matters 
  • LLB degree (minimum 60% marks preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification legal experience
  • Registered with Bar Council (preferred/required as per notification)
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, administrative law, and PSU regulations
  • Experience in corporate/PSU/legal advisory work preferred
