How to Apply

Madras High Court is one of India's oldest High Courts and exercises jurisdiction over the State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry. The opportunity is offered under the office of Suganya Amalnathan

  • Conduct legal research and case law analysis
  • Assist in drafting petitions, affidavits, written submissions, and legal opinions
  • Attend court proceedings and assist in litigation matters
  • Prepare case briefs, notes, and documentation
  • Coordinate filing, registry, and procedural work
  • Support day-to-day chamber and client-related legal work
  • LL.B. degree from a recognized university
  • Enrolment with the Bar Council preferred/required
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills
  • Knowledge of court procedures and litigation practice preferred
  • Proficiency in legal databases such as SCC Online and Manupatra may be advantageous
  • Freshers and young litigators interested in court practice may apply
