How to Apply

Competition Commission of India is a statutory body established under the Competition Act, 2002. It is responsible for promoting fair competition, preventing anti-competitive practices, and protecting consumer interests in Indian markets

  • Conducting research related to Competition Law and policy
  • Assisting officers in legal and regulatory assignments
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and analytical notes
  • Working on market and competition-related legal issues
  • Participating in orientation and project presentations
  • Assisting different divisions of the Commission with assigned tasks 
  • Indian nationals only
  • 2nd & 3rd year students of 3-year LL.B. course
  • 4th & 5th year students of 5-year integrated LL.B. course
  • LL.M. students
  • Students must be from recognized institutions with exposure to Competition Law
  • Candidates with confirmed placements are not eligible

Interested candidates must apply in the prescribed format along with:

  • Recommendation from their institution
  • Statement of Purpose (around 200 words)
  • Complete application form and supporting documents

Applications should reach CCI by the 1st day of the preceding month for which internship is sought. Applications can be submitted through the prescribed mode mentioned in the official notification.
