Sirmacs Consultancy Services is inviting applications for the position of Associate Trainee / Assessment Intern. The opportunity offers practical exposure to indirect tax litigation, drafting, compliance, advisory, and tribunal practice with a possibility of conversion into a full-time Associate role based on performance.

  • Conducting legal research on GST, Customs, Foreign Trade, and allied laws
  • Drafting replies, appeals, writ petitions, legal opinions, and written submissions
  • Assisting in litigation before adjudicating authorities and tribunals
  • Supporting compliance, advisory, and documentation work
  • Managing hearings, deadlines, and case updates
  • Exposure to Intellectual Property Law and Civil Law matters
  • Final-year students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. courses recognised by the Bar Council of India
  • Freshers with up to 1 year of experience may also apply
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills required
  • Familiarity with SCC Online and Manupatra preferred
  • Final-year students should intend to enrol as Advocates after graduation
