How to Apply

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is a statutory body established under the TRAI Act, 1997. It regulates telecom and broadcasting services in India, ensures fair competition, protects consumer interests, and advises the Government of India on policy and regulatory matters in the telecom sector.

  • Assisting in legal and regulatory research related to telecom policy
  • Studying and analyzing telecom laws, rules, and regulations
  • Supporting drafting of reports, notes, and policy documents
  • Assisting officials in compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • Data collection and case study preparation on telecom issues
  • Exposure to policy-making and administrative legal work
  • Law students from recognized universities (UG/PG)
  • Students with at least 60% marks in previous exams
  • Students from 2nd year onwards (for 5-year law course)
  • Interest in regulatory, administrative, or telecom law
  • Good research and analytical skills
  • Institutional recommendation/sponsorship required
  • Candidates must apply through the official TRAI application process by submitting the prescribed form along with CV and required documents.
