The Chambers of Yogesh Malpani is a litigation-focused practice engaged primarily in matters relating to direct tax advisory and dispute resolution. The chamber regularly appears before appellate and quasi-judicial tax authorities as well as constitutional courts, providing representation and strategic advisory in complex tax disputes.
Interning with a chamber specialising in direct tax litigation provides law students with structured exposure to income tax practice and appellate advocacy. It also offers insight into how tax litigation strategy evolves across multiple adjudicatory levels and how advisory work complements dispute resolution in taxation matters
Law students with prior exposure to direct tax laws
Interested candidates are required to send their CV along with a short note (maximum 500 words) analysing a recent direct tax decision.
Applications should highlight prior experience, if any, in taxation law.
